Lee’s Mills Steamboat Rally
The town of Moultonborough is sponsoring the largest and longest meet in the world for steam launches.

Each Sunday features a parade!
Sunday, September 7th parade starts at about 2:00 pm
going out into Moultonborough Bay
Sunday, September 14th parade starts at about 10:00 am
going out into Green's Basin

Hosted by Dave Thompson, the rally showcases 55 to 60 operating steamboats with several steam models on display

About the Annual Lee’s Mills Steamboat Rally

Each September the town of Moultonborough sponsors the largest and longest meet in the world for steam launches. It lasts for about ten days.

On the first Sunday of the rally, a steamboat parade goes out into Moultonborough Bay.

On the second Sunday of the meet, the parade goes into Green's Basin.

Usually the rally showcases 55 to 60 operating steamboats with several steam models on display.

It truly is a very unique, interesting and educational event. I highly recommend it.

You can really tell that the owners are very proud of their vessels and seem to enjoy sharing their hobby with the spectators

Always ok forward to this event. I head up with a few of my friends and have a "guys weekend" and take the boat over (or last year was a little too windy just drove over) and have a couple cigars and lunch on the boat watching the parade. We'll be up there for the last Sunday's parade. Noticed they moved the parade a little earlier this year. Isn't it usually noon? just means we got to wake up there year a little earlier.
