Default Ice Update

Need to head out to the Broads side of Rattlesnake Friday, anyone aware of the ice conditions from the landing. Any info would be a help

Can check the landing for you tomorrow night and post then. Not much traffic on the lake since the last storm. Some spots near shore starting to melt...

It is raining and very warm here. Got a quick glimpse of Glidden Cove before the sun went down. Big slush line from Smith Point area to Sleepers's. The shore is really wet. Could not get over to the Landing.... The road to it is really muddy right now.

Based on views from the webcams, the snow cover seems to have melted overnight. Water temp reading is up another degree today. With above freezing temps around the clock for most if the next week, it should start changing fast. I don't think I'd venture out on the ice after this weekend.

Made it out Friday, pretty much skimmed over with water, trucks out on Winni and Winnisquam. About a foot of ice at the south eastern end of Rattlesnake, I'm done thats for sure.
