Default Plumber in Meredith

I'm installing a second bathroom and need a plumber. I have already pulled the permit. Most of the rough stuff is already installed.

Any suggestions?

Default Minuteman Plumbing

Try Phil at Minuteman Plumbing. He installed a washing machine hook-up and drain for us last year. He came highly recommended by our contractor and I will definitely have him back.

Good luck with your project.

I would also recommend Phil from Minuteman. He is located out of Meredith and is also my plumber. His phone numbers are cell- 387-1476 and office is 279-3323. Worth the call

My vote is for Lakeside.....big difference with them is somebody always answers the phone. The ladies that man the phones know as much as the guys in the field. They can troubleshoot your problem and give an answer to most any problem. They do repairs, new construction and commercial.

I've used Lakeside for decades. This year, they've let me down. Five weeks ago they promised me they'd have this done by Memorial Day Weekend. Thanks to all for your suggestions.

Default Lakeside

I called Lakeside to install a pressure tank. The lady took down my request and said she would be back with an estimate and time. No call back. I called again, was given a reasonable quote ($500 plus) which I accepted. Was told I would get a call and someone would come by to double check on the equipment, etc. That was three weeks ago. guess they have all the business they can handle.

Wow...sorry to hear that. They take good care of me but maybe it's because I'm a commercial customer. Guess I better not plug them on the forum if they aren't going to show up.

Default Lakeside Plumbing

I've always been pleased with Dianne and all the others @ Lakeside. My father began using them when Tom Fairbrother started the business. Last year they laid off some of their help. I was told biz was slow. I guess this year it has picked-up beyond their capacity. I wish them luck. This 30+ year customer, always paid on time, will be taking, what is actually quite a bit of work, to another plumber who promised to contact me Tues., 5/29, to make an appointment. If this new plumber works out (recommended by a neighbor) I'll share the experience. If he doesn't? Maybe I'll still share the experience.

My electrician is also not so responsive this year. I thought we had a tough economy. Maybe the moral is to get work done in the fall.

Up until this year, I loved Lakeside. I wish them the best. However "luck" shouldn't be a part of this equation. I'm not gambling. I'm just trying to get some plumbing done reliably.

On advice from neighbors, I contacted Greg Smith at Smitty's Plumbing, Gilford, and so far he has been very responsive.

Another vote for 'Lakeside P&H' from me !

I called them on the recommendation of another Foum member.

They came to make adjustments to my furnace, and corrected things
overlooked by my oil dealer service tech, as well as two other P&H companies.

Furnace been working fine now w/o issues over a year......

Did I say their prices were VERY reasonable, compared to the other competition !

We used J&M Plumbing when renovating and liked them a lot. Just the two guys, Jim and Mike.
