Boating safety
Not sure if everyone already knows about this but I will be adding it to my safety gear (along with VHF, auto fire ext, jumper batt, portable bilge pump, tools, etc.). Hope this helps.

It's plumbers wax. The same stuff as the ring you put under your toilet. Lot's cheaper at the hardware store and you can break up the donut if you only need ti fix a small leak.
It got a good write-up on "The Hull Truth" forum last year and a member there said they used it to good effect once. |
