Burger Yachts on Winni

Those of you on the lake in the early 90's should remember the two wooden Burger Yachts that Patrick's Pub owned. One was called the Ashling, does anyone remember what the other one was called? I remember them when I was a kid.

Also, does anyone know what happened to them? Obviously they weren't making enough money for the restaurant (seems obvious...), but do people know more to the story, and/or where they ended up?

PS: Somewhat ironic Patrick's would own a 'Burger'.

I believe he was the owner of the two burger boats. He was also the owner of the sailing schooner for hire from the Weirs public dock.

I think he also owned 'The Great Escape' at the time.

Burger Boat Company is still in business...Big boats...Almost big enough to live aboard.

They have built boats in Aluminum and Steel since 1938. For some reason, I had thought Burger was a subsidiary of Chris Craft, offering Steel boats as an alternative to Chris Crafts conventional construction.

Maybe I'm confusing Burger with Roamer.
