Yup, what a difference a week makes. No boats, no Mitt, no baby loon signs in Robert's Cove. Does anyone know if the baby is ok? It was nice and warm out there though, even though it was a hazy sun if any.

Lot of traffic around Welch earlier this afternoon, not quite as busy as last Saturday though...

Default Old Image...

That picture is from July 13th. Although, I bet it is very quiet today.

Out on the Broads it's pretty mellow for mid summer. I've been saying that every time I'm up there hasn't been much traffic. Bike weekend I think was the slowest Bike weekend I've seen since the entire lake was a No Wake zone!

Just pulled it off the Weirs cam page, the live shot looked exactly the same, wonder if the date on the camera if just not correct?

Just checked the Anchor Marine cam and there was only like 2 boats off in the distance,,,

Very odd, I have personally never seen a Sat/Summer day when there was not a bunch of boats on the camera for as long as I have been checking this site.

In years past I have been stuck in endless traffic trying to pass under the Weirs bridge. In my 4 trips up this year I have had almost no traffic to get under the bridge.

Something is quite different than in years past,,,

It's been threatening rain pretty much all day, now it is sprinkling out. Still some boats out there though....

Arrow Quiet Day

Accept for when the poker run went by. Too bad it wasn't a good video or picture taking day for it. Happily, the waves weren't dangerous like last years run.

There was a small helicopter following behind the group of boats in the Donzi poker run so could be iit was shooting a moving picture?

That was APS making sure those pesky powerboaters don't speed

Yah, that was quite the sight to see.. Especially when you don't know what it was or where they were going until after the fact..
