Default Fairpoint charge from 2006

I am sure that they can do this, but my last bill seemed a bit high and I noticed there was a correction on a number of E911,Municipal Property Tax Recovery and other charges from 2006. What is the real story? Of course, I owe them rather than the other way around.

New Hampshire has a 3 year Statute of Limitations on debt. You should even be beyond the limits the government uses which is usually 7 years.

Google "Statute of Limitations on debt".

I haven't closely read a phone bill lately.

Are we phone customers still paying for the Spanish American War?

The Fairpoint buyout, from Verizon, of NH, VT, and Maine didn't occur till 2008.
