Default Firewood delivered to island in Gilford?

A few years back I saw references to people who would deliver firewood to the islands. Does anyone know of someone who does this? I am on an island in Gilford and only need about 1/4 or 1/8 of a cord. Thanks!

I don't know who does delivery but I have a a lot of it cut to log length that you're welcome to come cut up and take some away. I am on mark.

If you just want a snap-crackle-pop fire, buy a few studs or straps from HD, Lowe's or elswhere. It reduces to hardly any ash and is clean to carry in your car or boat.

It doesn't make much coals so don't expect a lot of heat. For that same reason, it's not the best for toasting marshmallows either!

Default Free Firewood

I am on Rattlesnake and have a couple of Hemlock's worth of firewood available for free. I also can also help deliver it with my Pontoon boat in the Rattlesnake / Sleepers area.

Hemlock doesn't burn that well. If it were oak or maple I'm sure you'd have some takers. Good luck.
