Default Mosquitoes

Mind you I am NOT (repeat...NOT!) complaining, but am I the only one noticing the lack of mosquitoes? With all the rain, I expected the worst. But perhaps it went on too long? Or they are coming and I'm asking too soon?

My son left one of the sliding screens open all night last night. I was amazed to discover it this morning and not have the house full of blood suckers.

Be patient, they are coming.

The cool to cold weatehr we had in late May and early June was not good for the mosquitoes. The weather we are now having is great for mosquitoes. This time next week, they will be doing their summer thing.

Same here.....thought it was my imagination. Outside in the late afternoon after a shower and not a mosquito to be seen. Cat pulled a screen slider open and we found it this morning.......again, no bugs. Plenty of deer flies around, though.

We have had more mosquitoes this year than any year I can remember. I will also be happy to send them to anyone who is missing them.......

I have seen more mosquitos here in Meredith than ever before. Sitting on the deck in the middle of the afternoon in bright sunlight and I have no fewer than 10 bites. That's just today. I'm still recovering from last weeks bites!

Must be a regional thing. I've had virtually no mosquitos in Bedford either which leads to a lack of bats or dragonflys seen either in my yard.
