Default Looking for indoor pool

We are looking to find somewhere local with a nice indoor pool for a one or two night get away next month. I'd love to find somewhere we can relax and maybe have a drink at the pool and pretend we are somewhere more tropical! Can anyone recommend a local (or within 1 hr of the lake) hotel with a relaxing indoor pool?

Definitely check out Steele hill - their pool always makes me feel like I'm on vacation except..... Don't go during holiday weekends or school vacation weeks. Then it's like being on vacation in hell lol (I have little kids so I'm allowed to say that!!)

The Windrifter in Wolfeboro has an indoor pool. You would just have to check and see if there is an available unit for the week you want.

Default Steele Hill Inn Sanbornton

Has the best pool setup for adults and children. They even have a hot tub!
The Margate has a pool, and it gets busy on weekends as it is open to paying public.
The Summit Resort also has a nice pool area you should look into.

Default Gunstock Inn has a saltwater pool

I recently stayed at the Gunstock Inn which has a saltwater pool. It was great to not be overcome by the smell of chlorine. I visited friends staying at the Fireside Inn and could smell the pool (chlorine) the minute I entered the lobby. The Gunstock Inn also has a fitness room and spa.

Default indoor pool

The Gunstock Mountain Inn has an indoor salt water pool. Haven't used it but looks nice and the restaurant has a fireplace and good food.

Actually, I just got back home a couple hours ago from staying at the Inns at Mill Falls in Meredith. There are four Inns and you can use the pool at Church Landing regardless of which of the four you stay at. The original inn, Mill Falls, is the least expensive, however they just closed down on Sunday for renovations. But they're running specials at Bay Point and Chase House in the mean time. The pool at Church Landing is nice.....it's indoor / outdoor and there is a hot tub inside and outside. Wherever you end up, have fun !!

The TownPlace Suites (a Marriott brand) in Gilford has a pool. We have stayed there a bunch of times before we bought a place and it's very nice. Relatively new and good size rooms.

Default Fireside Inn & Suites in Gilford

My wife and I stayed here last spring during ice-out. We came to do some major camp cleaning and it was too cold to stay at camp. Our primary criteria at the time was location and cost. [We weren't looking for anything beyond a clean bed and their off-season rate is very good.] We were pleasantly surprised at how nice everything (including the staff) was. The indoor pool looked great and they had a "social hour" nightly with free snacks. They also offered a complimentary full breakfast that was pretty good (for a free breakfast). I would certainly stay there again. It's also right across the street from Patrick's, so a good dinner is assured. Gee, I miss summer.

[Hey! This post just pushed me over into "Senior Member" status. Never thought I'd make it....]

Thank you all for the suggestions! I'm glad I asked because I hadn't realized some of the local pools offered day access and I discovered some additional overnight options

Default Gunstock Inn

Saltwater pool there is nice. The lockerrooms are pretty nasty. But i assume they plan to gut/improve them. The food is very good in Schusters tavern upstaris from the pool.
