2. Norma Gannon - 4/23/08 3:30 pm (within 4 hours, 30 minutes)
3. Mee-n-Mac - 4/23/08 3:22 pm (within 4 hours, 38 minutes)
4. Jean Griffin - 4/23/08 3:10 pm (within 4 hours, 50 minutes)
5. Alison Coleman- 4/23/08 2:55 pm (within 5 hours, 5 minutes)

The winners are being notified and will receive their prizes soon.

I look forward to following the ice-out progress and the Ice Out contest is fun too. Each year there seems to be more interest even in newspspers and on TV.

Earlier this year I thought we would not have ice-in at all.

I actually was one of the winners of the Ice Out Contest but for some reason I was overlooked. My guess was 3:10 PM on 4/23 and Someone who guessed 2:55 PM on 4/23 was selected a winner.

What is going on with that? I posted a bit earlier but it looks like my post is just sitting there. I know people on here always have a comment about what ever is going on so let's hear it...........

Now.... that person who came in fourth will have to return the 2 million dollar 4th place winners share of the prize money......how sad! She seemed so happy!!

Actually my guess was April 23rd at 7:59 pm but I forgot to register it in the contest...is there a prize for a Forgetful Fester??

The email address you posted with your guess is invalid. From the forum rules:

4. You MUST include a valid email address with your guess.
6. Any guess that does not conform to rules 3, 4 and 5 will be disqualified.

I already bent the rules since your guess is not in the top 3. I don't think it is fair to disregard my other rules.
