Jeff Fay - McDuff Marine Engine
Nice article in the Laconia Daily Sun about Jeff Fay and McDuff Marine Engines - once manufactured in Lakeport. Jeff has a great collection of antique engines at the Boat Yard.

Here is a photo of one of Jeff's McDuff engines that I took 3 years ago. Jeff had recovered it from being long submerged in Winni. He managed to get it running again.

Well yes, many. Not wanting to hijack this thread about Jeff, here is a photo of the old boat that Jeff kept running for the last 20+ years. Photo from 2014 after Jeff's guys Eric and Pete cleaned up the hull and installed new canvas.
I figured that if Jeff could bring those McDuff's back to live then he would have no problem keeping the SS235 running. And so he did keep it humming. Last edited by Slickcraft; 01-30-2016 at 08:19 PM. |

Jeff's collection & knowledge of his engine collection along with many others is incredible. Always learn something new about old technology.
