Default Happy New Year!!!

To ALL! Have a Happy New Year.

Enjoy yourselves tonight but as my mother used to say "remember who you are!" I will be home sleeping thru New Years Eve since I am working the weekend and have to be up around 5AM, so please no loud noise at midnight!

Thumbs up Happy New Year.

Looks like the weather will be 'just delightful' for the next few days. I love to see the snow fall as the year goes out. Hopefully the snow guns will be on full force to give me a 'magic carpet' ride for the first New Year day.

Happy New Year to all the forum members. May peace be with you.

Funny, gtx, my mother used to say the same thing. As long as those of us here in NJ celebrate quietly you should sleep through. Those at the lake can make all the noise they want.

Talking

I just returned from a most enjoyable visit to my sister in Philadelphia for New Years. I had forgotten how wild city folk get on NYE, and I laughed myself silly standing on her back deck watching fireworks come up from every available spot in the neighborhood, while kids ran up and down the street blowing horns and spinning noisemakers. What a great time was had by all!

Then we spent the entire 1st in Downtown watching my beloved Mummers strutting their stuff up Broad Street, dancing and making merry. This may very well have been the most enjoyable New Year I have ever spent.

I sincerely hope all of you enjoyed as wonderful and memorable a weekend as I did!

Happy New Year (a little late) to you all!!!!!!!!!!
