Default trolling motor battery

I have a 10 ft row boat that I use a trolling motor on when fishing. For the past few years, I have purchased one of those 2 year marine batteries at Walmart, throw it on the floor of the boat and connect the trolling motor. Works fine for the 2 years but the 2 years is up and its time for a new one. I recharge it after every use. Is there a better way? A better battery?

I used Interstate Marine Batteries. Little more expensive but if you throw it on a battery tender during the winters it will last for Years.

Bring the battery back before your 24 month warranty is over. Tell them it will not hold a charge any longer. They will replace it. Free batteries for the rest of your life.
