Consistency - Water Temps
It never ceases to amaze me the consistency over the years...
No matter the good or bad weather patterns, rainy or sunny months, global warming or not, etc, the lake water temps remain amazingly consistent, especially on the boundaries between the warm/cold seasons. As we're about to drop into the 40's heading into winter, below are the website recorded water temps on this date for the past 10 years (I think the last several years readings are more reliable with better equipment and attention), 2000 - 49 2001 - 52 2002 - 47 2003 - 52 2004 - 51 2005 - 51 2006 - 49 2007 - 52 2008 - 50 2009 - 50 Last edited by Merrymeeting; 11-05-2009 at 07:28 AM. |
