I once found a canoe snagged to some bushes on the Litchfield side. It was about 10-12 feet, aluminum and there was a paddle in it and a lot of water. I was tempted to snap it up but I just retied it in case the owner came looking for it.

I didnt get back there for a few months and it was gone by then. I hope it found it;s way home but it was probably just "salvaged."

Good Grief! I can't imagine being as patient as these folks have been, under the circumstances!

It sounds like Scream&Fly, BoatMad, or BoatFreaks,

but it's probably one of many I visited yesterday at http://www.sharkeymarine.com/. (There's a whole bunch under "Forum Links").

BTW: NY's Sharkeymarine (speedboat construction) was a big player in killing off New Jersey's loud-boat-exhaust law. (And other proposed New Jersey speedboat restrictions I won't be addressing here).

APS, Thanx for your info. I found it in the OffShoreOnly.com. forums. I don't think Canterbury and the Merrimack or it's tributaries are any place that "Air Dog" plays but it was the thought that counts.

Thanx again as I discovered whole new worlds of boat talk out there. Isn't technology wonderful?
