Default Laconiabikeweek.net

I am only asking this question on this forum b/c I have seen folks refer others to this link. I noticed it is down this morning ("Under Constuction."). Does anyone know what is up with it? Thanks so much (it's a good way to keep this forum free from the debate re: bike week)! Enjoy this weather!

Default Probably just temporary

The site is probably down in preparation for firing-up the webcam, or some other maintenance. It's a very active site, and I'm sure it will be back online soon.

Talk about bad timing. I was horrified to find it down this morning. LaconiaBikeWeek.net will be back up, hopefully by later tonight.

I transferred the domain name to Domain Direct, a process I've done with several domains. For some reason, the nameservers didn't stick this time and Domain Direct replaced them with their defaults. I actually caught the error yesterday around 5pm, but it was too late. Around 11pm, the changes propagated throughout the internet and shortly thereafter my blood pressure reached new heights.

Everything should be back to normal within 24 hours.

Thanks, Scott. It seems to be back up now. My name on that site is "Kissthis". . . Not intended to sound as fresh as it does!
