Default Pheasant Ridge

Has anyone played Pheasant Ridge lately? I know it’s under new ownership and have heard that money has been put into the club house and the owners “private men’s club” but nothing about the course itself. We have family coming to visit and we’re thinking about giving it a try (we usually play Lochmere). Any insight would be appreciated.

Default Stay @ Lochmere

Played there about a month ago for the first time. Fairway grass was too high and just looked like a hilly farm course. A few good views but nothing more. I didn't see alot of investment. Lochmere is in beautiful shape right now.

I stopped playing there two years ago due to the increasing cost and zero maintenence. This year with the new management I was hoping the price would have went down to draw a crowd back and fix conditions.
But Alas, the new owners went up in price and got rid of twilight pricing.

$79 for a round and a cart for that course is not worth it, if you are lucky to be able to play on a Monday $59 (still high) - Much nicer conditoned courses in the area for the same or less. But yes good views

Thanks for the feedback and too bad as I’d love another decent option and don’t play enough to justify joining a private club. It looks like Lochmere it will be as good course conditions outweigh a view (I can always take the family on a hike as there are many fantastic options with great views)

They put money into the clubhouse, and seemingly zero into the course. I wish the new owners well. I think its a great spot if they could just improve the back 9.
