Default Friday AM/Saturday

There is a chance for 1-3 inches Thursday night Friday morning then a possible storm for Saturday. But that is still up in the air.
So let it snow, the more the merrier.

As for disliking snow, this is NE and specifically NH, if you do not like snow you might consider moving somewhere else. The local economy relies heavily on winters and snowfall. Many establishments especially in North Country are struggling due to the lack of snowfall. A lot of us including myself actually look forward to the winter season, if nothing else just to break things up. Personally I get board with summer buy the end of August.
I used to travel a lot to Austin TX, if you like year round boating or at least 3 seasons of warm weather and boating you might consider moving there.

Default 4" in Moultonboro (Jan 20)

We woke up to 4" of fluffy white on Friday morning (that's in the anti-snowbelt that my place seems to be in). Its the kind of snow you can brush it off your car with one swipe of the arm. Now it is sunny and getting windy, with snow blowing off the trees.

I also agree, as much as a lot of us think winter and snow is a pain in the butt, because it makes driving difficult, we have to shovel it off driveways and roofs, it is indeed needed to keep our economy going. I don't personally like it either, but I deal with it now, because all my family, friends, and job are here. It would cost me a pile to move elsewhere, and get reestablished.
