Default Boston Pops at Meadowbrook.

I haven't seen or heard anything, is Meadowbrook going to display 'Pops goes the 4th' on the big screen? They did last year.

The WMUR site has updates:

http://www.wmur.com/2014-4th-of-july...6480856#!7M440

For example Alton had been today but now shows July 5 as does the town web site.

I see that Meredith has been moved to the 5th. Anyone hear anything on the other festivities scheduled for the 4th such as the BBQ and rubber duck race? I checked the Lions website but didn't see any changes.

Default Center Harbor postponed until Saturday

The "Moultonborough Speaks" blog, managed by one of the select board members, posted
http://moultonborospeaks.blogspot.co...tponed-to.html

Center Harbor Fireworks Postponed to July 5th Due to Expected Rain
Our 4th of July Parade is still on at the moment and a decision will be made late tonight if it will be postponed. The forecast is rather iffy for tomorrow.

The Weirs fireworks did not go off tonight. It was raining until about midnight. No idea about the new date.

Happy Birthday USA!

Default Wolfeboro

I'm curious what is going to happen to their fireworks? With sculpin saying he was going to do them on the 5th. I guess at least there will be fireworks regardless. According to weather underground there is 83% chance of rain!

The Weirs Action Committee's facebook page says they are cancelled and will be split into two regular Friday night shows over the summer. I think I'd rather have one larger but memorable display.

Anyone remember how amazing the fireworks were the first year the WAC used RS Fireworks? I guess the combination of budget and changes in firework setback requirements have really forced things to be watered down. Too bad nobody has a spare barge laying around to donate so we can free up the beach and have huge sky-filling fireworks again.

Default Wolfeboro Fireworks Rescheduled

From the Parks and Recreation Department web site...

"Fireworks rescheduled to Sunday, July 6th, 9:30pm, Brewster Academy (due to change from orginal July 5th fireworks raindate, Atlas Pyrovision Productions has promised the biggest and best show we've seen in Wolfeboro in years--stick around!)"
