Default looking for outboard

Hi,

My 94 whaler died this summer and I'm looking for a 5 or 6hp four stroke motor to put on my row boat. Any recommendations on where I can pick one up in the area, or a dealer of used boats..thanks!!!

Default Used outboard

Andy: M&M Salvage located in Meredith might be your best bet.

Default Next year

There are usually engines like this in the Brookline boat auction (May) and the NH Boat Museum auction (July).

For about three hundred dollars, you can get a small outboard from NH craigslist.... go to the boats section and do a search for "Allenstown" and there's a guy in Allenstown, NH with all these old Evinrude and Johnson outboard that he rebuilds.......all 2-strokes that run & run & run forever on just a wee small 25:1 portion of the el cheapo blue Walmart 2-stroke oil.
