Default Exceptionally clean hotel for allergy sufferer?

Friends,
We're heading up to the Lakes Region in July and then again in August and are looking for a recommendation for a good hotel / motel suitable for an allergy sufferer. It is virtually impossible to find one just using the web ... we generally need very recent construction or no carpets ... the latter more rare than one would expect. My wife is the allergy sufferer ... dust mites primarily ... and this condition is getting in the way of my racing at Loudon. Any recommendations / suggestions appreciated. We're open to anything within an hour +/- of Loudon.
Thanks,
Harry in NW CT

The first one that comes to mind is Church Landing in Meredith. I have stayed there a couple of times and it is real clean and fairly new. Check it out

Harry,

This may help. They don't list any NH hotels.

They do say the it's available in Andover MA. , just over an hour from Loudon.

If you drive like your in the race, maybe less than an hour.

Good Luck!

Thumbs up

I'll second Church Landing, a little $$ but you get what you pay for it is right on the lake and it's about 45 minutes from NHMS

Thank you for the Church Landing recommendations.

But this PURE ROOM thing is incredible! Andover, MA looks to be 1 hour 10 min door to door ... and I can do it faster, I'm sure

This is an incredible lead for all of our travels ... thank you so much!!

Isn't there a "green" motel in Plymouth, across from the McDonalds?

The Wolfeboro Inn just recently completed a huge renovation, so all rooms are brand new. I do believe they have carpeting though. Good luck.

You might try the new Marriott Towneplace Suites in Gilford .... new construction that has been open just over a month.

Sometimes very new carpeting is miserable, with the adhesives, etc.
Try making reservations with stipulation you can back out after an on site review.

I have been at Church Landing and the others in Meredith, know some management, and think that they would give you an honest answer; suggest you ask for reservation manager, front desk manager, or even Paul Cole who has worked there since the first opening of Inn at Mill Falls.

My sis-in-law suffers from allergies, and she's found that some places (including Bethel Inn in ME where she just had her wedding) have what they call "Pure Rooms" which are as close to allergen-free as possible are available..... perhaps you should ask if that is available when calling around to places? Just a suggestion!
