Default Question for the lake experts.

Who can tell me what part of the lake we are looking at in this pic? What islands are those? etc etc. I took this pic today.

Default from left to right

The first very small island is Ship Is. Above it are two islands, Treasure Is and behind it Sleepers. To their right is Rattlesnake with the hills on it. You may be looking at a part of Diamond Is at the back left of Rattlesnake. In the foreground is Barndoor Is, which is across from the Bahre Estate, and above it, the small island is Little Barndoor. The Island to the right and further away is Parker Is. Behind it in the reddish tint is Welch Is. Don't know the other islands. my chart is on the boat.
Oops, forgot to say this: Nice Picture!

And in the foreground are the Varney Islands, was this taken from a hilltop or plane?

It looks like the view from the rest stop on Rt 28 in East Alton. Just a guess.

So it is Alton. Thank you. I took the pic with my phone from a hilltop while out riding my ATV. Lots of nice views of Lakes Winni, Wentworth and Merrimeeting also in that area.

Looks like the view from the top of Mt Caverly, but a bit lower...

I think that the picture was taken from the western part of Mt. Longstack at the vista.

I have no idea exactly where it was taken. I was out trail riding with friends and came across this view. Stopped whipped out my phone, snapped a couple pics and off we went. LOL. We had unloaded at the ATV parking area on Rines Rd.
