Default Salads

I'll be lakeside next week for the first time since covid hit and I am wondering which purveyors serve the best salads in the lakes region?

Side salads, full meal salads, any type at all.

Also, are there are salad bars of note?

LocalTopia in Wolfeboro has excellent salad and grain bowls. If you have a large appetite, look closely at the menu to see how to adjust the size of your bowl

T-Bones has a great full meal salad. I usually get the crispy chicken salad, good size and a good portion of chicken.

I have not found really good dinner salads lately, and part of the reason is I've restricted by food at home to local farm offerings. Now I can taste a big difference between lettuce that has been "bagged" and fresh lettuce. It seems like many restaurants are now using the pre-bagged stuff.

The Mug has good salad entree options. They have a lot more options, than you think they would.

Default In Laconia

Trillium on Canal Street has an excellent salad selection.
So does the Local Eatery on Veterans Square.

Not a salad bar, but we do like Foster’s ChopChop Salad with either grilled chicken or chicken tenders. They have other salads, too. But we find that the best value in the area.
