Default Clambake/Barbeque

We are planning a clambake and barbeque for about 40 people from my company in mid July. Lobster, clams, burgers, hot dogs, corn...all the usual stuff.
Does anybody have any actual experience with local restaurants or caterers who could do this? Our summer home is in Meredith.

Post A suggestion

Check out MacDaddysrollinsmokebbq.com they are out of Meredith. I don't know anything about them except I stumbled across there web site awhile back. The web site says they do mobile catering but not sure about the clam bake.

Default Common Man chain

They did a clam and lobster bake for my class reunion. Fantastic job! They had 55 Gallon drums filled with saltwater and seaweeds. While boiling they stuff the lobsters, clams and corn cobs in the drums. Served with fresh made cole slaw and New England beans. Can't get any better than this off the Maine Coast!

O's also did a great job at a wedding I attended. Maine style feast.

Default Kevin's is on the short list

Kevin's is definitely on my list, one of my favorite restaurants when we're up there.
Does anybody have any experience with Mountain Lake Clambake in Moultonboro? I've never heard of them.

Default Barbeque-Clam bake Catering

I have heard many good things about Mame's Restaurant in Meredith and their on-site catering and barbeques.

You may also try Curts Caterers from Gilford. They do a fantastic job but not sure about Clambake events.

Good luck!

Even though they aren't local, Woodmans of Essex Ma was fabulous! Everything set up professionally, they can also do fried clams and onion rings on site. Best part about them, they cleaned up beautifully and took the trash with them!

Fried clams and onion rings? That's all they would have to bring!! I wonder if Kevin can do that?
I think it's time to start making a few calls.
Thanks everybody

I have seen this company's flyer at JoJo's. Don't know anything about them, so don't take this as an endorsement.
