Winnipesaukee Playhouse - How is it?
Steel Magnolias is playing at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse and we're thinking of taking in one of the shows. Yeah, I guess it's somewhat of a "chick flick", but IslandPrincess assures me I'll still like it
How is the Winnipesaukee Playhouse? Are the productions good? We take in the shows at the Peterborough Players and Theater at the Mount on a fairly regular basis, but have never checked out anything around the lake. What have your experiences been? Thanks! Steve |

Winni P
The Winni Playhouse has never done a bad production! I have seen many shows since they opened and everything they have done has been first rate, whether it is the summer series or the community theater.
One of the most professional groups around the area. |

Took in Steel Magnolias tonight (Thursday) - VERY well acted and a nice intimate theater. We'll definitely be back

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.
Steve, I think I figured out who you were but didn't want to say anything that might influence you in case you were planning on posting a review here!! Unfortunately, Flyfisha, we won't be in the new building next year. We are still at the fundraising phase. Our goal at this point is 2013. Thanks again everyone. Steel Magnolias ends on Saturday after a great but exhausting summer. No rest this year though as our community theatre "off-season" starts the very next weekend! |
