Default Bear Island chapel vandalized

http://www.laconiadailysun.com/story...pel-vandalized

When nobody is around to see what's happening, or when someone thinks there's nobody watching, some people will do things like this because they assume they will not get caught.

Angry That's A Disgrace.

It's always been kept open for people to enjoy it.

Not anymore I guess.

I never understood vandalism. Then again, I have an IQ over 40. Flippin' morons.

Default Chapel vandals

My family hiked to the chapel that day with some friends and arrived just as temporary repairs were being finished. We wanted to show our friends the chapel and the stained glass panel in honor of my wife's grandparents who for many years organized the guest priests/ministers and her grandmother played a mean pump organ most Sundays!

Sadly, there are a lot of miscreants out there. Doors can be repaired. Glad the damage wasn't worse.
