Skate Escape - Meredith

www.laconiaskateescape.net which lost its Laconia home to a fire last September is hopefully in the process of moving to the www.winnipesaukeeplayhouse.org area in Meredith.

A roller skating rink would be an excellent addition to Meredith and could be a new place to go for some indoor exercise fun for all ages............and not just for kids. Roller-skating could be something to do on a rainy night in April, a cold night in February, or a hot and humid day in August ....... maybe take in a play at the Playhouse and do some skating too, all in the same trip.

Question: Do they use the rollerblade style of rollerskate or the two-wheels-in-front and two-wheels-in-back style of rollerskates? This style probably has its own specific name?

This new location has been in the local news lately due to an issue with the Meredith zoning board?
