Had the same feeling first time I left boat in the water all season. That first fall I tried everything to no avail, then someone turned me on to "Slimey Grimey". What a great product! This works...

Fuel or Electrical
You really need to find out which it is, Fuel or electrical otherwise you will just be replacing good parts for a lot of $$ with no solution.
Take it out again with a can of carb cleaner or ether...

Pier 19 will open this season
Over the weekend I got confirmation that the Pier 19 store will be opening right before Memorial Day Weekend, most likely May 22 or 23.
