You need to replace the chain with stainless steel chain. All connections should also be stainless. Once this is done your problem will be solved.

Tis, these gutters are being installed under my deck as part of the under deck ceiling system I installed so no leaf filters.
What I can tell you about leaf filters is don’t bother with those...
