Come and learn the history of this beloved New Hampshire icon and the story of the Nielsen family, who were caretakers of the Old Man for over 40 years. Speaker David Nielsen, the last official caretaker, shares his family's unique relationship with the Old Man of the Mountain, which collapsed overnight in May 2003. For David, the collapse meant: "...the oldest person in my family just died."

Copies of the Family Profile DVD and the book 101 Images of the Old Man of the Mountain, by David Nielsen and co-author historian Bruce Herald, will be available for purchase after the presentation.
