Shot from New Durham Ridge. Mountains on the horizon include: at the extreme left is Pine Mt; to its immediate right, but further back, is West Quarry Mt; to its right, with 2 small clouds right above it, is Straightback Mt; to its immediate right and a little further back is the northern peak of Straightback; some distance to the right is Mt Major; and at the far right, far into the background, is Mt Moosilauke. Some buildings on the lower slopes of Pine Mt, along the Alton Mt Road, are seen a little below the center of the photo, and at the lower right are buildings at Alton Village.
