I've always enjoyed this view as perfect for the lake but for the traffic and electrical wires. I remember being very young and everytime leaving the cottage in Moultonborough and heading to the Weirs my Nana would always remark how that view reminded her of her youth in Scotland with the loches.

This has always been one of my favorite views too, LIN ! I know just where it is!

I've also tried to take pictures there too, even going as far as having my husband stop the car and waiting for traffic to clear, then trying to snap the picture without getting any poles or wires in it! Haven't gotten the perfect picture yet, but the view to the naked eye is great when you crest that hill!

Have you noticed the picture posted by "pelon" of this same view from the 1950's? it's great!

Hi NH Kathy, I'd not seen his but just checked it out. still a really beautiful view. Not too much change except a bit more development but those wires wish they could put them underground there. Would be nice to have a pullover for a scenic view shot too. Thanks
