This shot is of the Rte 11 or west side of the bay from the Rte 28A or east side. The mountain mass that takes up 2/3 of the background used to be called Alton Mt (still is by a few older lifetime residents) but is now known as Pine Mt (the Alton Mt Road goes up the mountain on the far right side), and, to the left, the lower section is sometimes called Bergeron Mt. Some of the fairly recent building on the bluff above Rte 11 a little north of the Back Bay bridge is shown. At the far right is part of the Sandy Point complex.
