A view of Avery Hill from the NW shore of Sunset Lake in Alton. At the Hidden Valley Scout Camp there is a nice lakeside path along the NW shore of Sunset Lake that provides a walk with views like this. And eventually you can take a side trail that will lead you to the top of Shannon Mt where you can get long vistas toward the south from east to west that provide grand scenery.
