Alton Bay - November 25, 2005 - Thankfully the Gas Dock is no longer underwater. I thought I noticed (as I quickly went by) that Mee-n-Mac still has those barrels filled with water on their dock. Must be frozen by now!

The bay was still skimmed over when we saw it on Sat. The barrels weren't frozen solid but did have an outer layer of ice about 1.5" - 2" thick around all the periphery. Took a little persuasion with a hammer but all the "sentries" are now empty and retired for the season.
