The "Sail Boat Barn" as you refer to, is actually the Swallow Boat House. A boat house is where a boat is stored. A barn of any type is usually for livestock or horses. The vessel stored ther was the "Swallow" as shown in this picture. Masts did not need to be lowered when shee entered the boat house. A beautiful piece of Winnipesaukee History. WJT2
