A view of the eastern half of Merrymeeting Lake from the summit of Mt Molly. The lakeside mountain (with the outline of a large house at the summit just discernible) is Mt Jesse. The lakeside mountain at the right is Birch Hill, or Birch Ridge. The high terrain in the center mid-foreground is known as Owl's Head. A dark line at the far right section of that terrain shows where a steep road (North Shore Rd) passes over the ridge, with extremely steep terrain above and below you as you ride up it.
