Piper Mt in Gilford has a long (close to a mile), relatively flat summit running essentially north to south. It is a popular mountain with great views and is much visited by hikers. In recent years they have built many stone chairs at scattered sites along the entire summit, usually oriented in the direction of one of the fine views.
