I took my girlfriend Megan to Spindle point while we are here visiting family (we live in Colorado). I love spindle point and it is one of her favorite places on the lake too. I attached the ring to a snap-swivel on my fishing line and she pulled it up on the fishing rod! I was a little nervous putting the ring in the lake, but it worked out and she was quite surprised! She said yes! This isn't a great picture, but we took it of ourselves minutes after I proposed, and after she stopped crying!

WOW!! Congratulations bud. I don't think I would ever be brave enough to drop that in the lake. But what a great story you will always be able to tell.
