Snow is rapidly disappearing from even Mt Washington (shot yesterday). As wispy clouds swirl around the peak, we see at its lower left the huge depression of Oakes Gulf. Left of that is the summit of Mt Monroe. Descending south from the summit and swinging slightly SE is the long, high ridge called Boott Spur. To its right you can see the very steep walls of the east side of Huntington Ravine, above which is the rocky prominence called Nelson Crag. In the immediate foreground is Black Snout, of the Ossipees. Just behind it is Mt Paugus of the Sandwich Range. The wavy-topped mountain in the mid-ground at the right is Bear Mt, located just north of the Kancamagus Highway. Note the vulture soaring high above in the upper right corner.
