Suncook Falls lies within the Belknap Mountain State Forest. It is a feature of Suncook Brook, which is the outlet brook for Round Pond, situated about 1/2 mile above the falls. The brook flows from the pond to the falls through very rugged terrain, flanked by cliffs and rock falls, often through small gorges cut through the mountains by the brook over the millenia. There are a few primitive paths which lead to the falls, from both the state forest and the Boy Scout Reservation.
