Yes Uppy, and you know what?.... There is no need for speed here on Lake Winnipesaukee! Take it slow and enjoy the views along the way.

The sea is one thing.... Leaving Row's Warf in Boston on a Friday afternoon and being on the Cape in fifteen or twenty minutes is okay, as apposed to driving there by car.

When being here at Lake, in the first place, your already here, hence, no need for speed.... GO SLOW AND ENJOY! Get my drift????

Thanks Upthesaukee!

Exterminator? Eliminator? Gladiator?

Where do they adopt the names like they're out to "slay" somebody? And isn't it the county's property ("the swale", used for emergency access, utilities access, undersurface utilities' resources and turning room for 18-wheelers) that he's roped off for himself?

Hi ApS,

The OffShore Racers were in town for a weekend race out in the Broads. Some of the boats entered in the race were parked in front of Fitzgerold Motorsports on Union Ave where I took some pictures. I believe that Fitzgerold was one of the sponsors. There were no traffic problems and plenty of room for safe passage in both directions.

As we are all aware, in any sporting series, some have a little WWF mentality, ( if you will ) ... To each their own.

On the other hand however, there are more than a few that stand out and will always be remembered as great pioneers in Offshore racing!

The late Al Copeland is one that comes to my mind, and he was and will always be a friend of my family... Some history;

More, and watch the video on Stan Ware's website;

Last, but not least. Don Johnson of Miami Vise fame, also piloted for Al.
