Taken on January 30, 2005. 360 panorama of the bay from about 100 yards from the bandstand. Started looking out by Sandy Point and worked my way back clockwise to Sandy Point. Note the truck on the left starts with the door open, and ends with it closed and someone standing next to it. If you want a full size file so you can print a poster out, email me and I'll send you the file as a JPG.

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements, which is about $90 software. It has a lot of the basic elements of Adobe Photoshop, hence the name. I took a series of photos (6, I think) starting with looking out the bay, and they I rotated my body in one direction (in this case clockwise)until something distinct that had been on the right side of the frame was now on the left. Snapped the pic. Did the same thing until I was back the the beginning. I opened all the pictures, make them small (approx 640 x 480 pixels) and told the software I wanted to Photomerge (another term would be "stitch") the pictures. In this case, it did only two, but I was able to join the rest, then I cropped the picture slightly to get rid of the "rough edges" and voila!!!! You can take the file and print it as a banner. If the printer doesn't take banner paper, it will take up to 5 pages, giving a final size of about 48" x 5". Kinda neat to play with.
