Photo taken a little before 8 AM this morning from Rte 28 near Roberts Cove Rd. The hill in the foreground is Bennett Hill. Just beyond are 3 mts of the Ossipees - Mt Flagg, Canaan Mt & Sentinel Mt - about 15 mi distant. About 50 mi back, between Canaan and Sentinel Mts, are 2 famous features of the southern slopes of Washington - Boott Spur and Huntington Ravine. On the summit are seen the towers of the observatory covered with rime ice.
