it's about time don't you think? First attempt with the new scanner. No date on card. Not bad for the first attempt. I see that the caption is cut off. I'll work on that! Isn't this a great card?

Outstanding card! Thanks McD

I am sure you will get the hang of the scanner quickly.

Hey Guys: You probably noticed that the last few cards I posted had streaks running through them. No matter how thoroughly I cleaned it I couldn't seem to get rid of the streaks. The old scanner was not a flat bed scanner and each card had to be hand fed into the scanner and it needed some postal stickies with a dark line drawn across on the top and bottom so the scanner would know where to start scanning. The scans often came out crooked and had to be rescanned. This new job is an HP PSC 1315 FLAT BED scanner/printer/copier (cheap - Circuit City $99.00) and it is so easy to use! I wish I had purchased a flat bed a lot sooner!

Hey, I thought I was going to see a picture of a new RADIO scanner. I keep forgetting that the word "scanner" has taken on a new meaning the last 10 or 20 years. Good luck with the new imaging machine mcdude. I love looking at the post cards and other pictures you post. Thanks.

BTW: this is a view from interlaken Park looking over towards the Weirs. Notice the Mt. Washington at dock and the Old Hotel Weirs.
