Time exposure taken at dusk as an experiment. I can't decide if its a nice 'artistic' interpretation of the Mount, or just a lousy shot! What do you think?

Looks sort of Chinese! A ghost ship! It's different and the colours are beautiful!

Don:

I used a timed exposure for the Alton Bay Gazebo picture I took back in 2002 and the Winnipesaukee at Night pictures from Weirs Beach. Timed exposures are fun to play with, especially if you're willing to take some bad shots and sacrifice some film combined with a little luck. At least, that's how I learn.

Anyway, excellent shot!!!

Take care,

Eric Austin

I too enjoy playing around with time exposures, or slow shutter speeds. Once you find something that works in a given situation, you can apply that any time you have similar light conditions. Also, if you have the capability to go to a larger f-stop (2.8 is a larger lens opening than 5.6 (smaller #, larger opening), you can sometimes go with a slightly faster shutter speed. In this case, neat photo!!!!!
