in Alton Bay. Postmarked 1915. Someone has noted on the back that this is "Pre-Harmony Park Beach" (the town beach on the east side) and indeed it is. The roads are dirt and the car looks like a Model T. On the far side looms Mt. Major and the building that is now the community center near the Mt. Washington Dock. There also is a depot building (looks like the original has burnt down at this point) and a water tower or some sort of silo. This also appears to be before part of the bay was land-filled for what is now the boat launch area. "Dear Arland; We are having a dandy time - out swimming and motorboating everyday and of course fishing too. Love from Uncle Bert and Aunt Addie"
