This photo views well only in the enlarged version. Nearly all of N H's most impressive mountains are revealed in the view from Shaw. Here we see them from Moosilauke in the west to Kearsarge N in the east. Washington is just behind Chocorua at the right center. Since Shaw is the tallest mountain in the Lakes Region, it has, arguably, the finest view from the Lakes Region. The trees obscuring the view seen here are slated to be trimmed back later this year.
