Quiet—but unknown—"Winnipesaukee" Setting...

ApS Senior Member Registered: January 2005 Location: Florida (Sebring & Keys), Wolfeboro Posts: 5,938	A neighbor bought this painting at a lakes-region yard sale. While titled "Lake Winnipesaukee", we're curious about the location, the year produced, and the artist—each of which are presently unknown. What at first appeared to be a signature of the artist, now looks like "N.H." My guess is that it's at least 50-years old. The original frame is included in this submission, as it could provide a clue.

Pineedles has a great idea of looking under the mat. You should also post a thread on the Forum. Someone will recognize the local. How big is the photo? It almost looks like an old colorized postcard. Almost.
